One Garden, One Promise at a Time

On a scale never experienced before, the natural world is becoming ever more degraded, impoverished, and unsustainable.  How can we change course?

Global Children’s Gardens has a simple, yet transforming mission: to cultivate among the children of the world the wonders, wisdom, and nourishment of natural gardening.  Global Children’s Gardens are community-based greenhouses where youth of all ages learn about the relationship between humanity and the earth, and about the opportunities for greater sustainability and global connection.

Using Growing Dome™ greenhouse kits from a company called Growing Spaces, the gardens are energy efficient, produce optimal results, are easily constructed and maintained, and are extremely durable. 

To date, these projects have positively impacted thirteen diverse communities, with several more partnerships slated for the coming year.

Global Children’s Gardens are more than beautiful gardens of sustenance.  They are the seeds for a future promise: a promise of a more peaceful, equitable, and sustainable future.
